AD-COPY WRITING
ONHOLD provides complete ad-copy writing service. We begin by exploring all potential message topics and help you compile a comprehensive list of ideas predicated on the demands of your business: product or service additions and changes, demands of the varying seasons as well as general information and customer service topics. (See our CUSTOMER PROFILE PROMPT SHEET for more assistance.)
Once a list is developed, you choose the topics you want written and recorded first, the ones you want on your first tape. Our staff are experts, experienced in writing professional ad-copy. And you approve the final draft. While we write the ad-copy, you always have the final say. Nothing is recorded until you give us final approval. |

VOICE TALENT
ONHOLD is pleased to provide only professional voice talent. You may select a male or female voice for each custom recording, or, for a small additional fee alternate between male and female voice on each recording. Our voice talent are all professional artists, providing voice service to a wide range of theatrical and broadcast projects. And, in addition to on-hold messaging, our voice talent is available for Voice Mail, Auto-Attendant and TAD (Telephone Answering Device) projects as well. Through ONHOLD, our talent has provided the recorded voice for commercial Computer Telephony softwareand is adept at reading foreign languages as well as character voices and dialects for special custom projects. |

RECORDING/ENGINEERING
At ONHOLD, our service includes complete recording and engineering of your on-hold messages. Our engineers work on state-of-the-art, digital workstations capturing your messages as hi-fidelity digital audio. In our production studio, sound editing, recorded message selection and mixing to cassette tape is all done digitally. The entire mix program, from the message playlist to the CD-quality, stereo music selection, is automated -- reducing engineering staff time and costs. In addition to the ease and flexibilty of our digital stations, the use of digital audio technology assures our clients of clean, hi-quality sound -- free of noise and generation sound loss that comes with tape mastering systems. |

ARCHIVING
With all of our sound recording and engineering service performed on digital workstations here at ONHOLD, custom recordings are saved as digital files. These files contain everything from the recorded word to specific engineering and mixing information and are archived in digital storage for easy retrieval and re-engineering (sweetened tape service). Best of all, digital archiving retains the pure, hi-fidelity of the original recording so subsequent mixes onto a tape forwarded to you retains the highest quality sound reproduction available. |

MUSIC LICENSING
ONHOLD has a growing, private library of direct-license music available for background or foreground music on your ONHOLD cassette tapes and CDs. "Direct-license" means that, as owners of the copyright, we can license the music, for its intended on-hold use, direct to you. As a result, our music titles are not subject to control or licensing by performance rights societies like ASCAP and BMI.
Best of all, our Contemporary Adult Jazz and Winter Holiday selections feature a variety of Northwest Jazz artists for real listening pleasure. Unlike others, we shun "needle drop" music as a source for ONHOLD underscores largely due to their un-natural, synthesized sound and commercial over-use. Needle drop selections are used by so many studio and broadcast facilities, that their is wide-spread cross-over use. (One company's TV music is another company's marketing video underscore.) |

TAPE PRODUCTION/DUPLICATION
Once your ad-copy has been recorded, our engineers mix the voice and music to your finished tape or CD. For many of our clients, multiple branch offices require an extra copy of this recording. In addition to tape production, we provide hi-speed tape duplication services -- at low costs. |

CUSTOM SERVICES
No two businesses are alike, and we know that sometimes an ONHOLD recording needs something more -- say, unusual. We do that, too. Our custom services can provide you with everything from sound effects to character voices, to specialty music backgrounds. We're pleased to be the Northwest's first supplier of custom on-hold music and messaging on CD. From our digital workstations, we mix a digital master of your ONHOLD program and "burn" it onto a CDR -- providing you with a virtually indestructable, hi-fidelity CD. Best of all, this premium on-hold service offers long programs (up to 60 minutes), the highest sound reproduction available and years of use.
ONHOLD Overhead
No matter whether you're a Trade Show, Fair or Festival producer or exhibitor, ONHOLD provides excellent music and messaging services to get your important messages out to attendees. From seminar and meeting announcements to food, entertainment or booth advertisements, our ONHOLD Overhead service is a great way to provide entertainment and important information with your attendees. ONHOLD can work with you to develope the right sales and coverage plan, from ad-copy production to complete playback systems.
Voice Mail, Auto-Attendant and TAD
We provide complete voice recording and engineering service for custom, outbound messaging on Voice Mail, Auto-Attendant and Telephone Answering Devices.
