The on-hold feature of a business phone is a specific built-in component of the KSU or PBX equipment-switch found in your phone room. Most multi-line phone systems, serving a minimum of 4 incoming lines and 8 phone stations, either have the MOH feature present or it can be added with the appropriate plug-in card. If you are uncertain whether your phone system has the MOH feature, refer to your owner manual or call and speak with your local phone equipment provider.

player from a local home electronics retailer in their

losing their repeat program memory) and recommend a medium-priced Sony
or Panasonic product - in the $45-$65 range.Benefits

Though rare these days, occasionally we find clients have purchased their telephone system without specifically requesting the MOH feature. If you find this is the case, your phone equipment dealer can sell and install this feature as an after-market product.Businesses that do not have a KSU or PBX system, but operate personal phones serving one to four incoming lines will not have this MOH component. These smaller phone systems are not designed to offer the MOH feature. As a result, if you desire to have an on-hold program playing while your callers are placed on hold (whether by a hold button, the star or pound key) - you can only do this with the appropriate adapter.
Here at ONHOLD, we offer a complete range of Skutch adapters - designed and built to work with a tremendous assortment of phone brands and models. Models and prices vary frequently. To learn more and get a current price quote on an adapter that works with your phones, write or call us.
